Symphony Communication Public Company Limited or SYMC joins forces with Creden Asia Company Limited to move forward with e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) and e-Signature services for corporate customers. Stepping forward into the modern digital economy, for organisations to speed up online transaction through digital platforms that are safely and securely linked with highly trusted government agencies' database to enable business cost reduction and enhance business development efficiently.

Mr. Alex  Loh, Chief Operating Officer of Symphony Communication Public Company Limited or SYMC, said that SYMC is a telecommunication network and service provider in Thailand, providing high speed and reliable network for domestic and international connectivity. The company is committed to providing customers with services to ensure fast and seamless business operations.  Recently, SYMC joined hands with Creden Asia Company Limited, a Thai Startup company who has developed e-KYC and e-Signature, to introduce these services to SYCM's customers to accommodate continuous business growth in Thailand. The partnership aims to propel paperless society that aligns with the digital economy policy, responds to customer needs, and speeds up online transaction.

"The Bank of Thailand has allowed banks and financial service providers to implement e-KYC and e-signature services since the COVID-19 pandemic. The contactless technologies ensure safe and accurate digital financial services that are user-friendly, helping customers to save time and simplify online transaction processes. Through the fast and secure digital platform, e-KYC adopts Face Verification and Artificial Intelligence technologies to verify personal identification synchronised with data from the Department of Provincial Administration. Besides, we are ready to provide services for customers who require data verification with the Department of Business Development database as well.

Meanwhile, the e-Signature provides a safe and secure paperless solution that is verifiable by the Blockchain technology. Customers can manage their transaction via various devices such as smartphones, tablets, or Computer PC, anywhere and anytime, with e-stamping time recorded by the Trusted Electronic Document and Authentication Electronic Transaction Development Agency (TEDA). All data are safely stored in either cloud and servers to support customers’ business efficiency. All businesses in different sectors show growing interest in adopting these technologies to elevate safety standards for services they provide to customers. Under this partnership, our target customers are insurance companies, MLM companies, loan business, department stores, supermarkets, hospitals, hotels, educational institution, and businesses which require an application process, member registration, or authorisation. We strongly believe that our partnership with Creden Asia will enhance business potential and enable us to provide a full range of services to customers.”

Mr. Pawoot Pongvityapanu, Chief Executive Officer of Creden Asia Company Limited, said that Creden Asia has been operating based on a concept to deliver services on Identification and Verification processes. The company has successfully developed e-KYC and e-Signature to help organisations simplify their online transaction process. Through these services, doctors can sign a medical certificate from anywhere, while insurance companies can validate claims via Smart Form, which reduce time and cost of paper consumption by 50%.

“In terms of data security and accuracy, Creden Asia synchronises these platforms with the government agencies such as the Department of Provincial Administration, the Department of Business Development. The e-KYC and e-Signature are even more efficient when both systems are operated parallel as the e-Signature requires a verification process for user authentication by verifying the status of users with trusted database through e-KYC. These services ensure users a high level of security and efficiently reduce work processes for businesses that need a fast operating system. Meanwhile, we are looking into expanding to provide other services, including e-Tax, to help local business increase capability and keep up with changes in the digital era.

At present, Creden Asia provides services to customers in different sectors both government agencies and private companies. We do believe that the partnership with SYMC helps us to expand customer base as SYMC serves many leading corporate customers. At the same time, this partnership enables our customers to enhance business development. The services create positive social and economic impacts by offering all citizens fast and convenient access to online transaction. This move is in line with the country's Digital Economy Policy, a vital factor to enhance many industries to be competitive and capability in the international arena.”
